Product Marketing Manager - Industrial Manufacturing

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager who excels at leveraging market insights and product innovation to propel our brand and strengthen our position in the market. The main objective of this role is to develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics that amplify our product's value proposition, ensuring successful market penetration and growth in the industrial condition monitoring space. This person will act as a thought leader and knowledge expert for our solutions, the industries we serve, the assets we monitor, and condition monitoring/predictive maintenance best practices. Experience in the industrial manufacturing space is required, with strong preference to those with experience in predictive maintenance. 

What You'll Do:

  • Define and support the go-to-market strategy and tactics for all solutions. Develop integrated marketing plans in collaboration with product management, sales, marketing, and customer success. Launch new products and services and ensure adoption and long-term growth. 
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product management and positioning. Work with the product team and sales to develop internal battlecards as needed. 
  • Build relationships with customer teams, as well as direct relationships with key prospects and customers, to develop case studies and customer advocacy.  
  • Take value propositions and convert them into relevant product messaging and positioning, translating technical information into digestible, clear, and concise messages for inbound and outbound marketing and sales materials. Conceive and develop innovative marketing programs and thought leadership content that drive product demand and educational awareness. Ensure cohesive brand messaging across all customer touchpoints. 
  • Act as the thought leader and knowledge expert participating across all phases of the buyer journey to deliver educational and inspiring content and presentations at industry, partner, PR, and other events and forums. 
  • Work with creative team on product labeling and branding, naming, and any product visual elements.  
  • Develop customer training and educational content, both written and video. 
  • Monitor app performance, reviews, keywords, etc. on Google and Apple stores. 
  • Support CSM and Customer Support teams on onboarding documentation, training, tools, and presentations that support understanding and usage of our solutions. 
  • Continuously update and be the expert on buyer personas. 

Who You Are:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, sales, marketing or related role for the manufacturing space. 
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns. 
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and experience working closely with product management teams.
  • Exceptional story-telling and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience in written, spoken and presentation formats.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience writing technical, educational content in the form of white papers, articles, case studies, infographics, research reports, and more. Samples of thought leadership content are requested.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a customer-first approach.

We have a distributed team that works remotely across locations in the United States. We are open to candidates from most states but collaboration within core working hours is required.
