Job Description
Astera Labs is seeking a HR Systems & Compliance Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead initiatives focused on HRIS integration and system enhancements, ensure compliance with public company audit requirements (including SOX), and drive project and change management efforts across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- HRIS Integration & Enhancement
- Lead implementation and integration of HRIS systems, ensuring seamless connectivity with other enterprise platforms.
- Identify and execute system enhancements to improve data accuracy, reporting, and user experience.
- Partner with HR and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.
- Public Company Audit & SOX Compliance
- Manage HR-related audit processes for public company compliance, including SOX controls.
- Develop and maintain documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Project & Change Management
- Drive cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Develop change management strategies to support adoption of new systems and processes.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HRIS implementation and system optimization.
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and public company audit requirements.
- Proven track record in project management and change management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS platforms.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Familiarity with HR data analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
