About the role

The Mobility Specialist plays a critical role in supporting international employee movements for our clients. This position ensures compliant, seamless, and efficient cross-border employment experiences by coordinating immigration, relocation, tax, payroll, and employment law requirements across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and their employees, managing mobility cases end-to-end while mitigating risk and delivering an exceptional experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Execution:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for immigration related matters, independently managing international transfer cases, visa strategy, compliance and workforce needs across the United States, Canada, LATAM and Caribbean markets.
  • Complete right to work checks, prepare immigration-related correspondence (e.g. employment confirmation letters, invitation letters, travel packets, business introduction letters, etc.) for clients, as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between candidates, employees, and external counsel to provide continuous support and coordination, driving immigration matters forward efficiently.
  • Monitor and respond to regional immigration matters, managing case activity deadlines, and follow ups to ensure timely and complete execution with no escalations.
  • Maintain and build strong immigration subject matter expertise for all of these regions including but not limited to U.S. work authorization and permanent residency laws.

2. Stakeholder and Vendor Management:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, internal and external stakeholders on regional immigration related matters.
  • Ensure all documentation flows are timely and accurate. Follow-up with client and internal teams as needed.
  • Work closely with external counsel to ensure timely accurate case are procured, build relationships, enforce SLAs and optimal service delivery from third party providers.

3. Operational Efficiencies:

  • Oversee and build knowledge of country-specific immigration processes, remaining up to date with changes to legislation.
  • Deliver regional training to internal stakeholders on best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and data-driven insights.
  • Effectively communicate with leaders, create strong relationships across internal organizations such as

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal or a related degree.
  • 4-6 years’ experience in the global immigration and mobility function.
  • Experience with immigration compliance and regulations across the Americas and Caribbean region.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, modern HRIS systems, word processing, and database management.
  • Proactive and solution-minded.
  • Team player with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
