As a Project Surveyor at Atwell, you’ll play a key role in supporting some of the nation’s most exciting renewable energy projects. From solar and wind developments to large-scale land acquisitions, you’ll take ownership of survey efforts that span multiple states and complex project sites. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team of office in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys large-scale, multi-site work and has a strong background in boundary resolution, title review, and data management for energy projects.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage surveying efforts on renewable energy and utility-scale projects across the U.S.

Provide expertise during proposal and planning phases, helping establish project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.

Conduct and review boundary analysis and title review to support land acquisition, easements, and real estate documentation.

Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process survey data and prepare deliverables that meet client and regulatory standards.

Oversee and review field survey calculations and make necessary adjustments to ensure precision and accuracy.

Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and inspectors to ensure consistent project delivery and collaboration.

Participate in ongoing professional development, including training events, survey conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications

Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.

Demonstrated experience with large-scale, multi-state renewable energy projects preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble equipment, and Trimble Business Center.

Prior field survey experience strongly preferred.

SIT or PLS certification desired (multi-state licensure a plus).

Pay Range
$81,100 - $125,700 USD
