POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate will play a key role in the Investor Relations Product & Analytics function within the broader Portfolio Valuation & Analytics group. Audax Private Equity’s Investor Relations Product & Analytics function is responsible for the preparation and presentation of marketing and fundraising materials related to each respective business line’s product offering.

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to contribute to all aspects of the fundraising and marketing cycle for our strategies and product offerings. The role involves marketing presentation creation, ongoing investor reporting, and the development of marketing and communication materials to effectively convey key performance data and messaging to both prospective and current investors within the Audax Private Equity fund strategies.

Additionally, the Associate will collaborate with other members of the broader Portfolio Valuation & Analytics team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of fund and portfolio company level data. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong technical skills, capable of turning complex concepts into clear, concise, and timely analyses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor Reporting / Investor Presentations / Fund and Portfolio Company Level Due Diligence

  • Create and refine investor presentations to ensure clear, tailored, and impactful communication.
  • Prepare and analyze detailed investment reports to deliver accurate and timely financial insights to investors.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations, Portfolio Valuation & Analytics, and Finance teams to provide data-driven support and content for investor relations activities.
  • Coordinate, collate, and complete prospective investor due diligence requests.
  • Assist with addressing existing investor queries related to fund / portfolio company performance or LP co-investment reporting.

Marketing and Fundraising / Annual General Meeting / LPAC / Conferences

  • Support all stages of the marketing and fundraising cycle, including fund concept development, documentation preparation, launch, roadshow presentations, marketing materials, investor-specific due diligence, and securing investor capital commitments.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of materials for the annual investor conference, semi-annual advisory board meetings, webinars, quarterly investor letters, portfolio company updates, and internal performance memos.

Fund Benchmarking and Analysis

  • Collect, track, and analyze key metrics in collaboration with internal teams and external resources (Preqin, Burgiss, Cambridge Associates, etc.).
  • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly performance benchmark reporting and other custom fund performance analyses.

Investor Relations / LP Co-Investments Data Management

  • Maintain the integrity of LP co-investor investment data and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations and Analytics team members to ensure data consistency across internal platforms and databases.

Other Internal Reporting / Cross-Functional Collaboration / Industry Trends

  • Draft presentations and analyses for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Investor Relations, Investment, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to support product development and interactions with current and prospective investors.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that affect fundraising and capital development efforts.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline; strong academic record
  • 3+ years of investor relations, finance, transaction services, investment operations, strategy, management consulting, investment banking or other asset management related experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative background
  • Strong work ethic with ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet project deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Excel. Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with attention to detail and ability to summarize complex ideas to various audiences
  • Highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
