What You'll Do
The Senior Royalty & Contract Compliance Administrator will be part of the Finance Team. Main responsibilities include: Ensuring contract terms and financial information are complete and accurate, addressing royalty reporting issues, training and coordinating with licensees on the use of royalty reporting function and assisting licensees with any compliance issues.
What you'll be working on
- Manage the input process all new license agreements into the royalty system (Royalty Zone) – contract details, financial information, product information and publishing.
- Review existing agreements currently in Royalty Zone against the most recent contract on file – to ensure legacy data in Royalty Zone is complete and accurate
- Assist in updating historical royalty/sales data to ensure all licensee information is current and accurate.
- Maintain and monitor our Rights Management System with all active and inactive licensees.
- Coordinate with the operations team relating to the review of contract information, product approvals and other operational matters.
- Assist with integration of licensees to our Rights Management System (existing and new licensees)
- Assist licensees with any issues related to but limited to both product and financial report uploads.
- Liaison between our Rights Management System Provider and Authentic Brands Group for any outstanding issues
- Assist in implementing the reporting functions of our Rights Management System, review reports generated and assist in preparing data for GL upload or management reporting
- Assist in monitoring licensee compliance such submission of royalty reports and other ad-hoc requests.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree with a finance/business background
- Ability to read and understand contracts and agreements.
- With at least 4 years of experience in administrative or accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of Royalty Zone or other Rights Management systems preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn new systems and take the lead in system monitoring
- Must possess the following traits:
- Must possess strong communication skills - ability to coordinate with personnel across the organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Ability to prepare reports in an accurate and concise manner
- Organized and possess good time management skills.
Primary Location Salary Range:
$65,000 - $70,000
