Jr. Sales Operations Analyst

Banyan is actively seeking a Junior Sales Operations Analyst to join our Chennai Tech & Data team, with a focus on supporting and maintaining our Salesforce ecosystem and its integrated applications. This role is ideal for candidates with some prior experience in Salesforce and a willingness to learn, providing opportunities to build expertise and grow within a supportive team environment. The role will involve collaboration with our onshore team in Canada/US to ensure the smooth operation of our Salesforce infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Salesforce System Support: Assist in investigating, analyzing, and resolving issues and bugs within Salesforce Sales Cloud and its associated applications, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Enhancement Collaboration: Support the development and deployment of small-scale enhancements to the Salesforce ecosystem, following guidance from senior team members and adhering to best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing of developed solutions to ensure they function correctly and integrate smoothly with existing systems.
- Documentation and Learning: Contribute to documenting issues and solutions, building personal expertise while fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
- System Monitoring Assistance: Monitor the performance of Salesforce systems under supervision, identifying potential optimizations and raising suggestions with senior team members.
- Process Support: Assist in refining and implementing operational processes and workflows, contributing to the Tech & Data team’s overall efficiency.
- Agile Participation: Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, sharing observations and learning from the collaborative team environment.
Qualifications for Success:
- Salesforce Exposure: 1-2 years’ experience in Salesforce administration, configuration, or customization. Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training and guidance will be provided.
- Familiarity with Agile: Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/Confluence is a plus but not required.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A willingness to learn and develop problem-solving capabilities, with an eye for detail and a curiosity for data-driven solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Enthusiasm for Learning: A motivated individual with a demonstrated desire to learn and grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team.
Working Hours: This role will involve close collaboration with counterparts in North America and requires an overlap of 3 to 4 hours in evenings IST with Eastern Standard Time (ideally, 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST).
