SUMMARY

As an experienced consultant this position must have a strong CSI/SyteLine ERP background specific to the area of financial consulting with LakeCo’s customer base, discrete manufacturers.  This position will assume responsibility for performing implementation and support tasks while organizing and controlling tasks within the work plan.  The ability to lead small project teams or small engagements with customers as well as on an independent basis for short-term assignments with little supervision is essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand client processes and requirements.
  • Facilitate client training and implementation assistance focused on the future state of business.
  • Translate client’s requirements into ERP configurations.
  • Identify and coordinate data conversions and interfaces.
  • Support and troubleshoot ERP Finance issues.
  • Travel to meet with customers and lead implementations as necessary. 
  • Document progress on Lake Companies implementation project plans. 
  • Observe the pulse of the client and make management aware of any potential issues. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in consulting.
  • Prior experience working with Infor SyteLine ERP software is required. 
  • 5+ years of experience in finance management with relevant work experience (Manufacturing, Distribution, Job Shop, etc.) 
  • Experience with projects focused on finance process improvement or optimization on month end close activities, financial consolidations, accruals, sub-ledger reconciliations, reporting, planning and forecasting etc. 
  • Experience in assisting customers with implementing best practice processes through excellent leadership, organization, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities when working on-site with customers while also communicating effectively and monitoring closely the completion of tasks with other project team members.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization with professionalism and best practice expertise.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience with full cycle of an ERP Financial Implementation 
  • LakeCo. product experience (Shop-Trak and Doc-Trak)
  • Manufacturing background
  • Cohesive culture fit

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to be a key financial resource for implementing SyteLine ERP systems within customer organizations
  • Ability to provide initial and in-depth issue resolution for customers
  • Ability to assist customer with financial data migration & best practices support in accordance with GAAP
  • Ability to test, validate, and provide solution design of all financial processes
  • Ability to ensure common controls throughout the Inventory and Manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of: G/L - Set up Accounting Periods, Chart of Accounts, Beginning Balances
  • Knowledge of: A/P – Creating Vouchers/Adjustments, Distributing Vendor Payments, EFTs
  • Knowledge of: A/R – Creating Invoices/Credit Memos, Distributing Customer Payments
  • Knowledge of: Financial Statements, Year End Procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to effectively meet and work with fellow employees, customers, and potential customers
  • Demonstrated ability to train and provide consultation to customers in clear and concise manners.
