Position Overview: We are seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our team, with a focus on implementing and consulting around our Fact-Trak analytics and operational intelligence solution and our APS Made Easier™ (APS-ME) program.

This is not a software development role. Instead, you will focus on implementation, configuration, consulting, and customer enablement. You’ll work directly with manufacturing clients to understand their operational challenges, implement Fact-Trak dashboards and analytics (leveraging Microsoft Power BI), and guide customers through the APS-ME methodology to accelerate planning success.

As both a trusted advisor and hands-on practitioner, you will help clients achieve measurable improvements in on-time shipments, throughput, inventory reduction, and planning reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Fact-Trak solutions for manufacturing clients, including setup, configuration, and deployment of dashboards, KPIs, and analytics using Power BI.
  • Consult with customers to understand their planning and scheduling processes, operational pain points, and business goals, aligning Fact-Trak and APS-ME solutions to deliver measurable results.
  • Lead APS-ME engagements, guiding clients through readiness assessments, accelerated launches, and adoption of best-practice planning processes.
  • Deliver training and workshops for executives and operations teams, ensuring knowledge transfer, user confidence, and trust in planning outputs.
  • Support change management, helping clients transition from manual or ineffective planning processes to automated, analytics-driven approaches.
  • Enable clients to track and improve performance in areas such as on-time shipments, inventory turns, and throughput using Fact-Trak dashboards and APS-ME accelerators.
  • Collaborate internally with product and consulting teams to share customer insights, influence product enhancements, and improve implementation practices.
  • Represent The Lake Companies at customer sites, industry events, and APS-related initiatives as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP/APS consulting, manufacturing operations, or business intelligence implementation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI (or comparable analytics tools) for dashboards and data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing planning and scheduling concepts (APS, MRP, capacity planning, inventory management).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops and training sessions, translating complex processes into clear, actionable steps.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with executives and front-line users alike.
  • Proven consulting skills, with the ability to build trust and guide clients through process change.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (estimated 25–40%).

Preferred:

  • Experience with Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) or other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Fact-Trak, Shop-Trak, or Doc-Trak solutions.
  • Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to change management practices in technology-enabled transformations.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (estimated 25–40%).

What We Offer:

  • Meaningful Impact – Help manufacturers achieve real improvements: higher on-time shipments, reduced inventories, faster throughput, and smarter planning.
  • Innovation & Expertise – Join a company innovating for over 40 years, with solutions like Doc-Trak, Shop-Trak, Fact-Trak, and APS-ME.
  • Professional Growth – Build expertise in advanced planning, analytics, and customer consulting across diverse manufacturing industries.
  • Collaborative Culture – Work in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment where your insights shape both client outcomes and product direction.
  • Flexibility & Balance – Enjoy flexibility in managing your work and travel commitments.
  • Competitive Compensation – Receive a comprehensive package including salary, incentives, benefits, and development opportunities.

If you are a results-driven professional with a passion for applying technology to solve real manufacturing challenges, we invite you to join our team at The Lake Companies. Through Fact-Trak and APS Made Easier™, you’ll help clients achieve measurable improvements in on-time shipments, inventory reduction, and operational efficiency.

Apply today and take the next step in transforming both your career and the future of manufacturing.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
