About DRT Performance Tix

A leading ticketing platform for dance studios, performing arts schools, and related organizations. Founded in 2012 by Joshua Olson, DRT offers customizable ticketing solutions, including themed sales pages, interactive seating charts, real-time reporting, and seamless payment processing. The company is recognized for its exceptional customer service and serves over 2,000 clients across North America.

We’re searching for a talented front-end engineer with strong React expertise to join our engineering team. Your work will be highly valued as you contribute to our growth and success by modernizing our client-facing administrative portal.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize a high-performance ticketing site front-end using React and Next.js (v13+), based on detailed specifications and APIs.
• Enhance and complete existing codebases by quickly understanding architecture, identifying issues, and implementing improvements.
• Create and maintain modular, reusable UI components aligned with brand and design guidelines.
• Connect front-end components to APIs seamlessly.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining React-based web applications.
• Proficiency in React Testing Library for thorough testing and quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• UX/UI design proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Conversational English required.

Bonus Points:
• Familiarity with graphical rendering in webpages and interactive data visualization.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for React applications.
• Experience working with NextJS, specifically Version 13+ using the new App Router
• Experience integrating Stripe Payment Elements or similar payment gateways.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments using Jira.
• Experience creating components for embedding on 3rd party websites
• Experience working in or using Azure, Swagger documentation, and Postman
