Senior Lead, Ecommerce Sales - Merchandising Programs

Overview: The Program Manager Sales Leader will be responsible for the oversight of developing and ensuring execution of strategic sales plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives. This role requires a seasoned leader who can manage and optimize sales across multiple clients, enhance team performance, and achieve measurable results. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of driving revenue growth, improving profit margins, and leading high-performing sales teams

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Client Management:

  • Develop with Program Managers comprehensive sales strategies, on ecommerce sites, to drive revenue growth and improve profit margins across multiple clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Review & approve strategic goals to drive business growth and new opportunities that align with their goals. Act as the primary point of escalation for clients, managing communication, resolving issues, and leveraging insights to foster long-term partnerships and achieve mutual business objectives.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Program Managers and Program Coordinators - providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Sales Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of sales plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximizing opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales promotions and campaigns.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve financial goals.
  • Monitor sales expenditures and margins, implementing cost-control measures as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of managing multiple brands or clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience driving Ecommerce Strategy (hands-on, and in leading teams who manage ecommerce sites)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

 

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
