Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor

Purpose

The Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations in BDA’s team stores at Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Center Armory. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining strict control and tracking of inventory through the warehouse, stores, and satellite kiosks using RetailCloud, Excel, and other programs as needed. In addition, the Supervisor will oversee the receiving and unloading of frequent shipments from BDA’s main warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Experience Requirements 

-Must have a strong focus on communication with management and fellow staff members

-Strong understanding of internal processes and programs, especially the utilization of RetailCloud for inventory management

-Three years’ experience in a retail environment 

-Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegation, and follow-up skills

-Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel

Physical Requirements

-Must be able to stand in one area for up to two hours at a time

-Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

-Stooping/Bending on job –25% of work time

-Grasping/Reaching/Twisting – through-out work time

Duties & Responsibilities

-Restocking of store both during and between games; inventory management.

-Oversee receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods; careful recording of inventory both in the warehouse and on the floor, both at BDA’s Climate Pledge Arena and Armory team store.

-RetailCloud transfers, inventory lookup, and visibility.

-Printing stock tags for retail items detailing inventory and cost; tagging inventory as needed

-Follow shipping procedures for and accurate complete information to ensure delivery.

-Follow Warehouse Department’s Quality Control Program and all established quality control processes.

-Communicate and partner with main warehouse and inventory/home office team.

-Delegate tasks and responsibilities during set-ups/restocks.

-Operate shipping software consistently, accurately, repetitively and rapidly.

-Responsible for maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventative maintenance and communicating necessary repairs/issues to Store Manager and/or Operations. Ensure store personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform receiving and distribution functions.

-Follow all BDA Safety, Security and Sanitation procedures and communicate and follow-up with team members.

-Other job duties and projects as assigned.

We are pleased to share the hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement.
