About the Role:

Bloomreach is seeking an exceptional Manager, Order Management & Billings to join our Accounting team. Reporting into our Director of Revenue, this role will lead the global Order Management & Billings teams and will partner closely with the Collections, Revenue Accounting & Deal Desk teams. This is a very hands-on and high visibility role within the CFO organization with opportunities to drive process improvements while focusing on public company readiness. To be successful, the manager requires a strong understanding of the order-to-cash cycle, excellent communication skills, a high degree of detail orientation, and an ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

However, we do have a globally distributed team across the US, EMEA, and India, so depending on your region/timezone you are located, you may be required to work earlier than 9am (MT/PT) a minimum of 3 days a week in order to successfully partner with your global teammates. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Billing and Order Management team, including providing the team with clear expectations, targets and goals
  • Responsible for related month-end close and audit related tasks and ensuring all individual and team deadlines are met
  • Play a hands-on role to drive team success, including reviewing processed orders to maintain high levels of accuracy, assist with clearing out any backlog at month-end as needed, and reviewing complex deals to ensure compliance with bookings policy
  • Provide relevant training to the team for new SKUs & product offerings as needed
  • Establish SLA for order processing and responses to inquiries, while striving to reduce processing cycle time and error rates
  • Manage backlog of orders to be processed and resolve any bookings issues timely
  • Process requests for SLA credits / performance credits
  • Manage ARR and booking metrics, and own the weekly and monthly reconciliations of bookings (salesforce opportunities to ERP Sales Orders)
  • Partners with FP&A and Sales Compensation teams to resolve questions related to bookings and ARR
  • Ensure accuracy of invoicing including working knowledge of VAT/Sales Tax rules and Export Compliance 
  • Be a self starter and proactively identify and execute on opportunities to gain efficiencies, improve internal documentation, and implement internal controls to elevate the function to public company standards
  • Lead by example as a strong partner to other departments across the organization (including Deal Desk and Revenue Accounting on a regular basis)
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize processes, striving to deliver higher process automation, improved accuracy and higher customer service
  • Perform people management duties such as delivering effective feedback, setting team goals and measuring success, investing time to help develop each team member’s skills and competencies, and completing annual performance reviews
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
  • Assist with projects and initiatives as required

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years combined of Billings and Order Management experience at fast paced, high growth organizations. SaaS experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with process improvements, learning new systems and implementing internal controls
  • Netsuite and Salesforce experience required
  • Experience with Zone Billing and/or Tessorio is a plus
  • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting guidance in accordance with US GAAP
  • Strong problem solving skills with the initiative to research and resolve issues independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong with Word and Excel
  • Desire to work in a fast-growing, exciting, and agile business
  • Highly interpersonal and ability to work in a team environment, including teammates in other locations across the world

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000. The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above.
