About the Role:
We are looking for a Strategic Financial Systems Manager to own and evolve our complete finance suite of applications, including; NetSuite, Concur platforms end-to-end, with a particular focus on the revenue recognition process and robust, well-architected integrations across these systems. This role sits in our IT organization at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT, ensuring that our core financial systems are reliable, well-governed, scalable, and user-friendly. Having exposure and experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus.
You will serve as the strategic product owner for NetSuite and Concur: defining the roadmap, driving process optimization, leading implementations/enhancements, and ensuring data integrity and robust controls across our financial landscape.
Key responsibilities:
Platform ownership & strategy
- Act as the primary owner for NetSuite, Concur, Zone Advanced Billing, and Tesorio, accountable for overall system health, roadmap, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and assistance with the integration of Salesforce CPQ.
- Define and maintain a multi‑year roadmap for financial systems aligned with Finance, Accounting, and IT strategy.
- Evaluate and implement new modules, features, and integrations (e.g., advanced revenue, multi-entity, tax, expenses, travel, cards) to support business growth and complexity.
- Establish and maintain governance standards around configuration, customization, and change management.
Process design & optimization
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Procurement, and The People Operations teams to map current processes and design future‑state workflows across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, T&E, and corporate card programs, with a strong emphasis on accurate, timely revenue recognition and downstream reporting.
- Lead initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automate key finance processes leveraging NetSuite and Concur capabilities.
- Translate business needs into well-documented requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria.
- Build and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and data flows.
Delivery & project leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of financial system projects (new modules, integrations, rollouts, and major enhancements).
- Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors; manage scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Own testing strategy (unit, system, integration, UAT) and ensure high-quality releases through disciplined change management.
- Drive global rollouts and localization where needed (tax, statutory reporting, multi-currency, entities).
Integration, data & controls
- Design and oversee integrations between NetSuite, Concur, Zone Advanced Billing, Tesorio, Salesforce CPQ, and adjacent systems (e.g., BambooHR, banking, BREX corporate cards, data warehouse/BI), ensuring end-to-end data consistency that supports accurate revenue recognition and forecasting.
- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and consistency across systems, including master data management for vendors, customers, GL accounts, and cost centers.
- Partner with GRC / Security / Internal Audit to maintain SOX-compliant controls, appropriate access, and audit trails across NetSuite and Concur.
- Support audit requests, including configuration evidence, workflow documentation, and reporting from financial systems.
Support, operations & enablement
- Serve as tier‑2/3 escalation point for complex NetSuite and Concur issues; coordinate with vendors and implementation partners as needed.
- Define and track SLAs for incident response, change requests, and enhancements.
- Develop and deliver training, onboarding, and self‑service resources for Finance, Accounting, and business users.
- Provide thought leadership on best practices in financial systems, staying current on platform roadmaps and industry trends.
Experience & Qualifications:
Required:
- 7-10+ years of experience in financial systems, business systems, or finance operations, with significant ownership of NetSuite.
- Deep hands-on expertise with NetSuite (administration, configuration, workflows, saved searches, reporting, roles/permissions, integrations and ARM).
- Strong working experience with Salesforce CPQ including configuration, policies, and integrations to Netsuite
- Strong working experience with Concur (Expense and/or Travel) including configuration, policies, and integrations to ERP and card providers.
- Proven track record acting as a product owner / platform owner for enterprise financial applications.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and major system enhancements in a high-growth or multi-entity environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and T&E processes.
- Experience implementing and operating controls in a SOX or audit-driven environment (segregation of duties, access models, change controls).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system designs.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with executives, Finance, IT, and end users across time zones.
Preferred:
- Experience with:
- Multi‑subsidiary / multi‑currency NetSuite environments.
- Revenue accounting and/or subscription / SaaS business models.
- Global T&E policies, corporate card programs, and spend governance in Concur.
- Integration platforms (iPaaS) or tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft) and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Zone Advanced Billing or SuiteBilling.
- Background collaborating closely with IT Infrastructure / Security / GRC on identity, SSO, and access governance for financial systems.
- Prior experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth companies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NetSuite Administrator, NetSuite ERP Consultant, Concur certifications) are a plus.
What success looks like (first 12 months)
- A clear, prioritized roadmap for NetSuite, Concur, Zone Advanced Billing, Tesorio, and Salesforce CPQ is agreed with Finance, Accounting, and IT and is being executed predictably, with particular focus on revenue recognition and end-to-end system integration.
- Key processes across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and T&E are measurably simpler, faster, and more reliable, with reduced manual work and fewer exceptions.
- Audit and control requirements for NetSuite and Concur are consistently met, with clean evidence, strong access governance, and stable change management.
- Stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT view you as the go‑to partner for financial systems strategy and execution.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-$175,000, plus bonus & RSU's. The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above.
