Solutions Engineer-Sage Intacct
We're adding a Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer to our rapidly growing Intacct practice. In partnership with our sales and professional services teams, our Solutions Engineer will use their in-depth application knowledge and business expertise to design elegant software solutions that address each client’s individual business needs while demonstrating the value of Blytheco’s solutions and services. Together, we’ll transform businesses across the country by delivering exceptional sales experiences, innovative solutions and seamless software implementations.
The Opportunity:
Our Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer will assist our sales teams by designing and demonstrating our solution offerings tailored to the clients’ requirements which solve complex business issues. Utilizing their applications expertise and strong understanding of the gathered requirements, our Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer will establish Blytheco as a trusted advisor and partner of choice, paving the way for our sales team to close opportunities. As a multi-faceted ERP professional, our solutions engineer will flex and adapt to the needs of the practice, rolling up their sleeves to assist our professional services team with software implementations, as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-impact demonstrations to all levels of the client’s organization that establish Sage Intacct as the optimal solution to address their needs.
- Uncover and understand our client’s business objectives and develop a solutions sales strategy that will address their requirements.
- Act as a functional and technical resource and liaison between the sales teams and customers.
- Provide expertise in accounting business processes.
- Clearly articulate the benefits of Blytheco’s solutions, removing objections in the sales cycle.
- Conduct webinars for customers and prospective customers.
- Provide input to sales teams in developing sales proposals and client presentations.
- Contribute to the software implementation process by assisting the consulting team in the delivery of successful implementation projects.
Our Accomplished Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer Will:
- Prepare, present, and deliver high-impact, customized software demonstrations in a polished, engaging manner.
- Guide customers through technology options and strategies.
- Partner with sales team to develop Statements of Work, RFP’s, project cost estimates, and client presentations.
- Conduct webinars for current and prospective clients.
- Participate in discovery calls to understand and assess client needs.
- Develop customized solutions that effectively address client needs and are consistent with their business and technology objectives.
- Actively participate in the software implementation process by assisting with various client support tasks, data imports, and other consulting duties, as needed.
- Collaborate with consulting, sales, and marketing teams on cross-functional projects.
- Attending project, company, client, and ad hoc meetings, as required.
- Travel to client sites on an as-needed basis.
Experience, Expertise and Talents You’ll Share with the Team:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer OR 3+ years as a Solutions Engineer with another SaaS ERP application OR 3+ years of experience as a Sage Intacct consultant OR Power User.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related fields preferred OR equivalent hands on accounting experience.
- Experience with SaaS and/or client server applications required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and end-to-end process experience is a plus.
- Proven ability in handling multiple projects successfully while meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of common business practices related to accounting, as well as an advanced understanding of accounting theory, accounting systems, US GAAP, and IFRA.
- Demonstrated success in supporting sales team members in achieving sales quotas
- Outstanding organizational, time management, communication, and listening skills required.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal, customer service, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and proficiency with CRM tools.
- Ability to travel, as needed.
