Role: GenAI Platform Solutions Lead

A little bit about the role:
GenAI technology is rapidly reshaping the advertising landscape, unlocking new possibilities, transforming creative processes, and introducing new operational complexities for creative teams. As Brandtech+ expands its use of GenAI-powered platforms like Pencil Pro, we are seeking a forward-thinking GenAI Platform Solutions Lead to ensure our teams harness these tools to their fullest, most creative potential.
This pivotal role empowers the business to confidently deliver innovative, high-performing campaigns by bridging the gap between ambitious client briefs and the technical realities of GenAI-driven platforms. You will partner closely with business, commercial, and creative leadership to vet opportunities, scope solutions, oversee pilots, and enable seamless transitions into managed service. Your expertise and consultative approach will ensure that creative and business goals are realised in ways that are both feasible and future-focused.
As an evangelist for GenAI, you will inspire adoption, champion best practices, troubleshoot workflow challenges, and drive GenAI operational excellence - always in close collaboration with stakeholders across Brandtech+.
What you'll be doing:
Sales engagement & solutioning:
- Vet and scope new client briefs/engagements alongside the sales team, ensuring all proposals align with the true capabilities of Pencil Pro.
- Provide expert guidance on technical feasibility, protecting delivery teams from over-commitment.
- Work closely with Creative and Business Leadership to support the realisation of creative and commercial vision from a technical and workflow perspective.
Pilot delivery & transition:
- Scope pilot requirements with clients and internal teams, recommend AI solutions, set KPIs, and ensure understanding of platform capabilities.
- Brief the creative team on objectives and deliverables, and participate in key meetings to keep projects aligned with business goals.
- Ensure seamless continuity for handover into managed service, capturing and sharing learnings to inform ongoing operations.
- Act as a technical and operational point of continuity, maintaining strong collaboration across teams during key project transitions.
Creative workflow troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot and optimise creative workflows in Pencil Pro, supporting teams with technical solutions and best practices pertaining to platform usage.
- Share guidance and support - empowering creative teams to realise their vision efficiently and collaborating to improve processes.
Platform evangelism & adoption:
- Champion and advocate for Pencil Pro internally and externally, leading platform-focused workshops/demo’s, knowledge shares, training and troubleshooting.
- Keep teams up-to-date on platform enhancements, legal/ethics policies, and process changes relevant to technical and operational matters.
Stakeholder management & internal collaboration:
- Collaborate across sales, creative, business, client service, and technology functions to ensure all parties are aligned on what the platform can, and cannot, deliver.
- Facilitate conversations on technical enablement and workflow solutions, ensuring ongoing partnership with leadership and creative teams.
- Build strong relationships with Pencil technical and training teams, as well as TechAcademy, to stay current on platform capabilities, new features, and best practices, and to support effective knowledge transfer within the team.
What you'll need:
- Proven experience in a technology-driven, digital, or creative production environment - ideally as a platform lead, solutions architect, creative technologist, or similar.
- Strong technical aptitude, with a deep understanding of digital/creative production workflows; experience with GenAI tools or content platforms a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with sales, creative, delivery, and business teams to evaluate, shape, and scope client briefs, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Experience running project pilots to bridge concept and delivery.
- Problem-solving skills to independently troubleshoot technical and workflow challenges - always supporting, but not leading, the creative vision.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical solutions to non-technical audiences and collaborate across disciplines.
- A collaborative, pro-active approach, building positive cross-functional relationships and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Sensitivity to creative and business processes, knowing when to support and when to bring in subject matter experts from leadership.
- Prior client-facing experience is a bonus, but technical and operational expertise are prioritized.
- Willingness to be hands-on and detail-oriented while also operating at a strategic level.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and other business tools.
