Position Summary - Join us!
Breeze Airways is looking for a Manager, Team Member & Legal Support to join our legal team and champion integrity and equity across our organization. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, this role is instrumental in handling complex employee relations matters and providing general litigation support. As a trusted resource, you’ll oversee our compliance hotline, "Breeze Listens," track administrative actions and litigation matters, and work cross-functionally with the People Services team and other departments to support a respectful and compliant environment. You will help create a workplace where team members feel valued and supported.
Here's what you'll do
• Support the Legal Department with respect to active administrative actions and litigation matters
• Conduct internal investigations related to Team Member relations matters
• Manage the tracking of administrative actions and litigation matters
• Compile responsive information and draft position statements for formal complaints/litigation matters
• Identify areas for improvement in existing team member policies
• Oversee the Breeze Listens (Compliance Hotline) program, ensuring timely responses and resolutions
• Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of employment laws and regulatory requirements at the state and federal levels
- Strong knowledge of best practices for investigation techniques and case documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations, with a background in investigations and compliance matters
- 2+ years of experience managing EEOC complaints, including drafting position statements and coordinating with legal departments
- Prior legal or Human Resources experience
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Teams Meeting, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certification or background in legal research
- Previous experience in a highly regulated environment (aviation, healthcare, financial services)
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Law, or a related field
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with hotline compliance programs
- Understanding of TSA, FAA, and DOT regulations

- Excellent writing skills, with an ability to adapt writing for various audiences
- High integrity and professionalism with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct

- Skilled in using HRIS and case management systems to document investigations and track trends
