At Breeze, our app, website, and internal tools are critical to enable scalability of our fast-growing airline. Our product managers are essential members of the team that develops and builds these solutions. The expectation of a Senior Product Manager is that they can manage highly complex mission-critical technical products and work with a high degree of autonomy, while maintaining the trust of their team members, stakeholders, and the leadership team.
The position will sit at the nexus of our Guests, Team Members, and executives, as you prioritize the development team’s work, create and maintain product roadmaps, and provide vision, direction, and strategy for all upcoming features. You will serve as the subject matter expert for the domains in your area and provide guidance to the leadership team into customer needs, business strategy, marketplace dynamics, and competitor movement.
You will work with a product team consisting of digital design, development to develop new concepts, create and improve site features and functionality, and champion a relentless focus on a Guest-centric digital experience. Our product managers and engineering managers are the de facto leaders of their product team.
Additionally, a Senior Product Manager at Breeze must be a next-level team player, successful at managing relationships and collaborating and influencing across a variety of organizational functions within Airline Operations, Guest Experience, Information Systems, Marketing, Revenue Management, and others. Here's what you'll do

Defining the Product through Discovery
- Identify areas of business opportunity which can be met through the development of digital solutions. Understanding Guest needs is critical to success.
- Develop a long-term strategic roadmap for assigned products.
- Maintain a value-based prioritized backlog of opportunities for your product which align to Breeze Airways’ business strategy and goals. Develop business cases and models backed by data.
- Use product discovery techniques to move from idea to prototype. Approach problems with an open mind and embrace learnings from Guest research.
- Gather insights through qualitative and quantitative research into Guest behaviors—including field research at airports and on board Breeze flights.
- Utilize data, including transactional data, usage statistics, primary Guest research, and industry analyst reports to inform prioritization and solutions.
- Stay current with online travel and e-commerce industry trends as well as competitors’ digital capabilities.
- Maintain awareness of third-party capabilities that provide viable product solutions. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Develop and prioritize digital experimentation (A/B tests, multivariate experiments, etc.) to derive customer insights and drive superior product outcomes.
Guiding the Product through Delivery
- Partner with your engineering manager to deliver the product backlog.
- Accountable for the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize story mapping techniques to inform the creation of release plans, with a strong bias towards incremental delivery and iteration.
- Ensure appropriate measurement capabilities are in place to monitor your product performance and enable you to iterate on your product.
- Coordinate with the Director, Product Management on product development across the company; identifying dependencies, potential impact to the development team, and opportunities to drive a larger impact.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure operational support for go to market plans.
- Make key tradeoff decisions when required, smartly using data when it exists and solid judgment when it doesn’t, escalating as appropriate.
- Engage in constructive conversations with - and deliver tough messages when needed - to key stakeholders, including senior executives, while continually building professional and productive relationships.
- Provide 24x7 support during system outages or emergencies.
- Deliver the intended business outcomes.
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Engineering, or related fields; or an additional 4+ years of relevant experience
- 6+ years experience in web or digital product management
- Significant experience in development of mission-critical features and applications
- Strong Agile product development and planning skills, with experience planning across dependent products at scale
- Working experience with experimentation platforms (Growthbook, Optimizely, VWO, etc.)
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional training or certification including Agile Methodology or Product Management
- A background in aviation or travel
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s)
