The Turn Performance Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and pre-planning of turns across Breeze’s operational network. This resource will provide operational support to our frontline team members and serves a dual mandate: to ensure the highest likelihood of success as Breeze turns planes at the stations level, and leaning on the data collected and tracked longer-term to make operational recommendations in the spirit of improving overall turn times. This position will interface with all operational departments, though there will be regular and daily touchpoints with our Stations teams specifically.
Here's what you'll do
- Builds and actions a pre-planned operational checklist with a fixed focus on turn performance, securing awareness and buyback at the station level of preparedness on the following fronts: staffing levels, equipment checks, deicing capabilities, catering requirements, fueling challenges, et al.
- Works to resolve any station-level concerns in conjunction with Stations Management and the IOCC. These may be issues impacting day-of operations, as well as longer-term issues impeding or prohibiting operational success.
- On an as-needed basis and in conjunction with already developed technical solutions (i.e. CrewApp; TURN), track appropriate operational data for the purposes of future analysis and mitigation efforts.
- Monitors and verifies delay reporting, company e-mail correspondence, schedule change notification, and aircraft movement information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with stations
- In conjunction with the IOCC team, keeps stations apprised of ongoing issues and operational concerns, including flight-level changes.
- Coordinates with IOCC personnel during regular and irregular daily operations with any station or inflight issues on an as-directed basis.
- Analyzes issues that have a potential impact on flights, and relay that information to IOCC manager
- Develop and maintain credible working relationships with inter-departmental contacts
- Update and maintain reference materials, as appropriate
- Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in airport operations, inflight service, call centers, travel/logistics, or industry-agnostic tracking and analysis
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 2- or 4- year degree
- 1+ years of stations (above wing/below wing) experience; leadership experience, or 1+ year serving in a flight attendant or airport operations role
Skills/Talents
- Excellent computer skills with functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to serve as a liaison between other areas of the company
- Ability to work as a Team Member with a strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work with confidential material
