Who You Are
We are looking for a Revenue Manager who will be responsible for monthly and quarterly accounting processes to support the commercial operations including net product revenue, gross-to-net accruals, collaboration revenue, and accounts receivable. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Revenue, who reports to the Chief Accounting Officer.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with relevant accounting standards (i.e. ASC 606 & ASC 808)
- Accurately calculate and prepare revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end related to product revenue, license and collaboration revenue, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, gross-to-net accruals, etc.
- Analyze sales, rates, wholesaler inventories, returns, in-transit shipments, Medicaid, Medicare, chargebacks and other data for accuracy and completeness to ensure appropriate reserves and resolves variances to forecast
- Develop monthly/quarterly dashboards to track key financial and performance metrics (i.e., sales history, inventory levels, pricing discounts, etc.)
- Collaborate with Market Access, Sales and Marketing, Trade & Distribution, , Financial Planning & Analysis teams to ensure all components contemplated in the gross to net revenue accounting and forecast are accurate and complete
- Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure timely collection of customer invoices and prompt dispute resolution and assess credit losses
- Collaborate with the Head of Trade and the third-party logistics provider for timely collection of customer invoices for product sales
- Provide and support deliverables and compliance with external and internal auditors, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requests and quarterly/annual reviews
- Prepare technical accounting memorandums outlining the accounting treatment of product and collaboration revenue-related transactions (i.e., ASC 606 and ASC 808)
- Prepare financial statements and disclosures associated with revenue
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and solid accounting skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and interpretation of data
- Calculation and preparation of net sales reports and royalty calculations
- Additional duties as needed

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including +3 years of Big 4 public accounting experience and revenue accounting experience at a publicly-traded pharma company
- CPA license preferred
- Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-LookUps, data merges, filters, and if statements) and MS Word experience
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Understanding of US GAAP with expertise in the application of ASC 606 and ASC 808
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to prepare and support effective presentations of financial results and/or analytical findings
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel working with pivot tables, v-lookups, and other functions
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential

Salary
$115,000 - $160,000 USD
