In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Director, IT Business Solutions Partner - People, Legal, and Corporate Communications, you'll own the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of BridgeBio's core People and Legal enterprise applications, including Workday, VNDLY, and Greenhouse, while also leading the execution of the Malbek CLM implementation. At the core of this role is business analysis: you'll run structured discovery with People, Legal, and Corporate Communications stakeholders, translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and system design, and maintain traceability from requirement through UAT sign-off. You'll partner closely with these stakeholders, and with Legal Ops as the functional/business owner of Malbek, to drive project plans, timelines, and vendor coordination for platform initiatives from kickoff through go live. This role blends hands-on system ownership and business analysis rigor with structured project execution, working collaboratively within the technical architecture and vendor governance framework set by the Director. The ideal candidate is a strong partner and communicator who brings deep HR and Legal technology experience, excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, and the flexibility to operate in a lean, fast-paced biotech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the System Administrator for Workday (HCM/VNDLY) and Greenhouse, executing tenant configuration, integrations, and production deployments under the Director's role as the named IT System Owner in SOX documentation, and in partnership with the People Business Systems Manager, who owns functional and business process configuration decisions.
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of the Malbek CLM implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, integration, testing, and change management, in close partnership with Legal Ops (the functional/business owner of Malbek) and within the technical architecture and vendor governance framework set by the Director.
  • Act as the IT project manager for People and Legal systems initiatives, building and maintaining project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reporting for stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary business analyst and process subject-matter expert for People and Legal systems initiatives, partnering with the Director on process definition (per her domain-flexible, architecture-focused mandate): facilitate structured discovery sessions with business owners, map current- and future-state workflows, translate business processes and pain points into clear requirements, process flows, and system design, and maintain requirements traceability from intake through delivery.
  • Coordinate day-to-day with system vendors and implementation partners on delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality commitments are met.
  • Build test plans and scripts, coordinate UAT execution with business stakeholders, and track issue resolution through sign-off, ensuring every configuration decision is validated before it moves to production.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate People and Legal workflows across Workday, VNDLY, Greenhouse, Malbek, and other systems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Workday and Greenhouse data and integrations are clean, reliable, and well-documented as they feed the Maverick (Moveworks) AI assistant platform, partnering with IT End User Services and the People Business Systems Manager, who own the Maverick implementation itself.
  • Ensure system changes follow appropriate change management, testing, and documentation practices.
  • Maintain technical change evidence, tenant configuration records, and integration documentation for in-scope SOX changes, supporting the Director's formal accountability as the named IT System Owner and the dual sign-off required alongside the People Business Systems Manager (HR Business Process Owner).
  • Participate in the joint IT & People Technology operating model's shared governance cadences: bi-weekly enhancement triage against a shared queue with tiered SLAs, 48-hour dual sign-off on in-scope change control, semi-annual Workday release regression testing (paired with People's UAT sign-off), and quarterly AMS vendor governance reviews.

Where You’ll Work

This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office, requiring in-office collaboration a minimum of 3 days per week.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as a business analyst and/or project manager supporting HR, Legal, or contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, with direct hands-on experience in Workday and/or Greenhouse required.
  • Experience implementing or administering a CLM platform (Malbek, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record independently leading enterprise system implementations from requirements through go-live, including managing vendors, budgets, and executive-level stakeholders with minimal oversight.
  • Pharma or biotech industry experience is a nice to have; experience in a regulated or high-growth environment is a plus.
  • Skilled business analyst: proven ability to facilitate structured discovery with non-technical business owners, write clear requirements and process flows, and maintain traceability across the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Comfortable owning current- and future-state process mapping independently, since this role (not the Director) is the designated process subject-matter expert for the People and Legal systems portfolio.
  • Natural collaborator and relationship builder, equally comfortable partnering with People and Legal stakeholders on business process design and with IT peers on technical delivery, with strong communication skills that translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment with lightweight governance and shifting priorities; minimal travel expected.
  • Comfortable operating in a joint IT & People Technology model with formal dual sign-off governance, and clear on the distinction between technical execution (this role, as System Administrator under the Director's IT System Owner accountability) and functional/business process ownership (the People Business Systems Manager).
