Who You Are

We are seeking a highly skilled and relationship-focused Director/Senior Director of Investor Relations (IR) to foster and improve relations with investors and the financial community. The ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining strong relationships with the investment community while supporting the operational aspects of the IR function. This role will serve as a key liaison between our senior leadership team and the investment community, ensuring transparency, establishing trust, and building long-term shareholder value.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key analysts, institutional investors, and major shareholders
    • Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings, roadshows, investor conferences, and other events to engage with the investment community
    • Proactively engage with the investment community to provide insights into the company’s strategic direction, assets, and performance
    • Act as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and provide accurate, timely, and insightful responses
  • Relationship Building:
    • Work closely with the executive team to articulate the company's value proposition, growth strategy, and business objectives in a manner that resonates with investors
  • Operational Support:
    • Prepare quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and call scripts, ensuring clear and consistent messaging
    • Support the planning and execution of investor events, including logistics and material preparation
  • Corporate Messaging & Disclosure:
    • Ensure consistent and accurate messaging in all public-facing materials, including earnings reports, press releases, and investor presentations
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all disclosures meet regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or finance, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders
  • Experience working closely with senior executives, analysts, and institutional investors in a publicly traded company environment
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for various audiences
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Preferred Attributes: Experience with a public, commercial-stage biotech company
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must operate independently

At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.

$215,000 - $260,000 USD
