What You'll Do

BridgeBio is looking for a Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research, to join our strong and growing teamThis position will report to the Head of Global Value & Health Economics. The role will focus on products in development and contribute to the conception and execution of innovative strategies to ensure patients access for all BridgeBio affiliate therapies and evolving product pipeline portfolio, providing insights to clinical trial development, clinical outcome assessments, and insights into competitive assessment. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to collaborate with external stakeholders and Cross-functionally with Market Access, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Planning. Effective collaboration and communication with external customers such as health.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities in an Early HEOR Role: 

  • Evidence Generation: 
    • Conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and modeling to generate HEOR evidence and insights. This may include analyzing clinical trial data, real-world evidence (RWE), and healthcare claims data
  • Value Demonstration: 
    • Developing and disseminating HEOR reports, presentations, publications, and educational materials to support the value proposition of new drugs or therapies
  • Collaboration: 
    • Working with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, market access, and medical affairs, to understand evidence needs and provide HEOR expertise
  • HTA Support: 
    • Providing support for HTA submissions and processes, including dossier development and response to queries
  • Model Development: 
    • Developing cost-effectiveness models, budget impact analyses, and other HEOR models to assess the value of interventions

Where You'll Work

This is an onsite role and requires in-office collaboration in our San Francisco, CA office. 

Who You Are

  • Master’s degree in health economics or related discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in health economics and outcomes research
  • Experience of Rare Diseases and HEOR early stage development activities and strategy
  • Global launch experience in a pharmaceutical company 
  • Proven track record of evidence synthesis (systematic literature review, indirect comparisons, etc.)
  • Proven track record of developing economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact)
  • Strong understanding of payer and HTA needs, and expertise in developing and delivering high quality submissions
  • Domestic and international travel required, expected to be 10-20% of the time and as needed

Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.

$225,000 - $260,000 USD
