What You'll Do

We seek a Senior Manager to join our IT Enterprise Applications team with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FICO), Group Reporting, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This individual will play a critical role in supporting and managing SAP functions, collaborating with various partners—including our Application Managed Services (AMS) vendor, SAP HEC team, and additional support partners—to handle service requests, ticket resolution, and day-to-day operational needs of finance applications.

The role will also involve overseeing the integration between SAP and Coupa via SAP BTP’s Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) service, ensuring seamless indirect purchasing processes. This role calls for an individual who can manage SAP configuration, compliance, and continuous improvement within our fully cloud-based S/4HANA solution.

Responsibilities

1. System Support and Ticket Management:

  • Oversee SAP FICO, Group Reporting, and BTP support activities, including managing escalations, prioritizing issues, and ensuring timely resolution in partnership with AMS and additional support partners
  • Collaborate closely with SAP, especially the SAP HEC team, to maintain system compliance and ensure alignment with BridgeBio’s operational goals

2. Vendor Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison for AMS vendor performance, ensuring SLAs are met and optimizing support processes to enhance service quality
  • Work collaboratively with additional technology partners and SAP, including the SAP HEC team, to ensure our fully cloud-based S/4HANA environment operates smoothly and remains compliant

3. Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and analyze ticket trends to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement in system support
  • Establish KPIs and SLAs to maintain high service standards

4. Coupa Integration Support:

  • Oversee and support the integration between SAP and Coupa for indirect purchasing using SAP BTP’s Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) service, ensuring seamless data exchange and process efficiency
  • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure the integration meets business requirements and resolves any issues impacting procurement workflows

5. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and lead process improvements within the Finance and Accounting departments, leveraging BTP for enhanced functionality and integration with finance processes
  • Identify and lead the investigation and implementation of new functionalities related to process automation and AI

6. Audit and Compliance:

  • Maintain SOX compliance, overseeing IT General Controls (ITGC) and regulatory adherence, including GxP, SOC1/SOC2, and GDPR
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure full compliance and security within the SAP environment

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment with business priorities and regulatory standards, and promote compliance across the organization

8. Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables for SAP finance application initiatives, ensuring all projects meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements

Where You'll Work

This is a U.S.-based remote role that will require travel as needed for visits to our San Francisco Office

Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7-10 years in SAP FICO, Group Reporting, and BTP, ideally within the life sciences or a regulated environment
    • Proven experience managing a fully cloud-based SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori environment
    • Experience collaborating with SAP HEC and AMS vendors for support and compliance
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, CPA)
    • In-depth knowledge of SAP Group Reporting and experience with SAP BTP
    • Familiarity with financial regulations (US GAAP, IFRS, SOX) and experience with SDLC methodologies
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strategic and analytical mindset
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and consensus-building

Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.

$165,000 - $190,000 USD
