In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.
Together we define white space, push boundaries and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.
What You'll Do
We are seeking an accomplished scientific leader to advance AI-enabled cardiovascular innovation within ATTR-CM. The AI Innovation Medical Director will lead the development and external communication of high-impact clinical and real-world evidence demonstrating how artificial intelligence enhances diagnosis, disease characterization & monitoring, and clinical decision-making. Responsibilities
-
Design and lead evidence generation strategies evaluating AI-based tools and analytics that enhance cardiovascular care in ATTR-CM.
-
Generate clinical and real-world evidence demonstrating the impact of AI on earlier diagnosis, disease characterization, risk stratification, and patient outcomes in small and heterogeneous populations.
-
Serve as an AI scientific ambassador for the company, engaging with cardiologists, rare disease specialists, health systems, regulators, and payers.
-
Lead dissemination of evidence through peer-reviewed publications, scientific congresses, advisory boards, and external collaborations.
-
Build and maintain partnerships with academic investigators, consortia, and technology collaborators focused on AI and rare cardiovascular disease.
-
Shape the external narrative on the responsible and clinically meaningful use of AI in rare disease cardiovascular care.
Where You'll Work
This is a U.S.-based remote role that will require quarterly, or as needed visits to our San Francisco Office.
Who You Are
-
Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MS, or equivalent) in Cardiovascular Medicine, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Biomedical Informatics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
-
5+ years of experience in evidence generation, Medical Affairs, or clinical research within rare disease biotech, cardiovascular medicine, digital health, or AI-enabled healthcare.
-
Demonstrated experience designing and executing clinical or real-world studies involving advanced analytics, AI, or data-driven decision support.
-
Strong publication and presentation record with experience communicating complex scientific concepts to external stakeholders.
-
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate innovation into clinically credible and externally compelling evidence narratives.
