Executive Assistant - 12 month maternity cover

📣 A bit about the role.

At Butternut, our mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs and their humans all over the world. In order to do just that, we need a team of forward-thinking, driven people who love dogs as much as we do.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Executive Assistant who will be able to hit the ground running supporting our co-founders in the delivery of core strategic goals. You should have proven experience working with senior leadership teams, be able to work sensitively and discreetly; whilst also understanding the business commercial needs and how to maximise on them.

In this role, you will complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitates the founders ability to effectively lead the organisation including their diary management, travel arrangements and content creation. You will lead the preparation of internal slide decks and externally for our investors + board of directors.

You will proactively resolve operational and administrative issues before they occur and adapt to shifting priorities. You will best support Kev & Dave through coordinating their diaries, anticipating their needs and ensuring they are prepared for the day ahead to get the most out of each appointment. Depending on the needs of our co-founders, there may be support needed with personal tasks.

This role will suit someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-mindset environment who is passionate about making an impact to our business but also in dogs lives - are you up for the challenge?

👋 A bit about you.

  • Able to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams and functions, both internally and externally.
  • You are incredibly organised, used to working at a very fast pace, support multiple people and the ability to manage multiple priorities, simultaneously
  • Someone who holds high standards for operational excellence: budgets, calendars, timelines, and efficiencies.
  • Curious and comfortable to ask the right questions to gain a full understanding of complex business issues
  • Equipped with effective project management and communication skills.
  • Passionate about the Butternut brand and the values associated with it. You love dogs, naturally (You like people too...)
  • Experience with graphic design using tools like: Adobe Creative Suite and Canva would be essential.

📢 Our interview process:

  • Application review
  • Initial call (30 minutes): Introductory chat with our Recruiter.
  • Take home task: This will be sent to you via email and will be used to understand more about your technical skills.
  • Final interviews (2.5 hours) : In person interviews in our office in White City where you will meet with both our co-founders, and our current EA. It will be a blend of competency questions, values based questions and getting to know you personally.

ℹ️ Logistics:

  • This team works 3 days per week from our West London office (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days from home. This is non negotiable, so please only apply if you’re within a reasonable commute of London.
