Senior Full Stack Engineer – React / Node / Go / AWS / MongoDB

Cargomatic is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building highly scalable, event-driven systems for a real-time logistics marketplace. This role will play a critical part in designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications that power our shipper, carrier, and internal operations platforms.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy tackling complex distributed systems challenges, and care deeply about code quality, performance, and user experience. You are curious about emerging technologies, actively experiment with new tools and frameworks, and enjoy contributing to technical discussions that shape architecture decisions. Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications across web and backend services
Build and maintain RESTful and event-driven APIs supporting internal and external integrations
Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver intuitive, high-performing user experiences
Contribute to architecture decisions around microservices, cloud infrastructure, and data modeling
Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Requirements
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Go, AWS, and MongoDB
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience working in microservices architectures
Experience building scalable, cloud-native applications
Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems principles

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mobile application development (iOS and/or Android)
Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain technology
Familiarity with event streaming systems and real-time data processing
