The Team You'll Work With
Carta is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our Singapore team between January to June 2025.
Carta opened its Singapore office in 2021, and since then, has been building a world-class team to support the startup and investor ecosystem across Asia Pacific. The Singapore team is lean and agile, and composed of local venture industry experts and Carta experts.
The Social Media Intern will report up to the APAC Marketing Lead and get the chance to work firsthand on a range of projects, including ideating new content series, pitching for podcast opportunities, creating employee video content, and more. This role will give you the opportunity to gain the necessary skill sets to jumpstart your career in B2B tech.
The Problems You'll Solve

- General Social Media: Work directly with the APAC MD and marketing team to develop goals and a social media strategy for key leaders/spokespeople, and subsequently craft out the content
- Video Content: Ideate, storyboard and produce video content that can be shareable on social media for personal and corporate branding
- Copywriting: Adopt the voice of Carta and the voice of designated spokespeople in order to craft out social media captions, LinkedIn articles, bylines for media and more
- Outreach: Identify speaking opportunities (for physical events, podcasts and more) for the APAC leadership team and conduct outreach to secure these opportunities
- Events: Prep pre-event social media designs, work with creative agencies to produce post-event social media collateral, as well as provide on-the-ground support for the marketing team
- Analytics: Work with the marketing team to develop and optimize reporting for social media to drive data-driven decisions
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
About You
- Studying Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, comms)
- Previous internship or work experience in marketing would be preferred
- Desire to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with social media editing tools (both photo and video)
- A love for social media
- Interest in B2B Marketing as well as the startup space
Nice to have:
- Experience with other marketing and sales platforms (such as Salesforce, Marketo, Figma, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Proficiencies with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (GSuite)
- Knowledge of the startup and venture capital ecosystem
