Position Overview
The CRA Legal Department is involved in all aspects of CRA’s business, actively assessing risk and providing advice to CRA’s consultants, administrative teams and support functions operating around the world. Currently a small team, the Senior Counsel is expected to be an experienced attorney, able to independently cover the full spectrum of corporate issues, including contract review, drafting and negotiation, intellectual property protection, data privacy issues, regulatory compliance, and all manner of other topics in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Boston based preferred but not mandatory. Hybrid work flexibility considered. Typical responsibilities include:
- Drafting, revising, and negotiating a diverse range of international and domestic agreements, including master services agreements, retention agreements, licensing agreements and nondisclosure agreements, in support of CRA’s day-to-day business operations
- Serving as champion of CRA contracting and risk management standards
- Responding to requests and inquiries from CRA’s consultants and administrative teams
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of legal templates, including retention letter templates and contractor agreement templates
- Performing associated legal research projects and tasks as assigned or required
Desired Qualifications
- Have 2-5+ years of legal experience, particularly in commercial/business contracting
- Be admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong focus on providing superior customer service
- Have a positive and client-focused approach to legal practice
- Be able to adapt to diverse work assignments and constantly shifting priorities
- Be willing and able to learn quickly and contribute to the team

Work Location Flexibility
