LOCATION: This position is an onsite role, based in Twin Falls, Idaho at the Clif Bar Plant.
Mission: Maintain the bakery’s production equipment and spare parts inventory. Take personal pride in ensuring that the bakery parts inventory is well managed, controlled, and supplied.
Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed.
- Receive shipments from vendors, check packing slips/invoices for accuracy and ensure quantities received are as stated; confer with suppliers regarding late deliveries; maintain appropriate records.
- Directly issue parts received to open work orders or place parts in the proper location within the parts room.
- Contact vendors to obtain price bids; prepare parts requisitions; obtain purchase order numbers from the bakery’s purchasing policies.
- Barcode all inventory parts for usage tracking.
- Assemble kits and fill orders as requested. Issue parts to open work orders as parts are distributed to mechanics.
- Conduct continuous cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to assure the proper availability of required stock.
- Exhibit a basic understanding of parts and equipment necessary to assist maintenance staff.
- Assist with the bakery change management process.
- Assist in identifying areas of improvement such as spending patterns, stock turnover, and pricing.
- Ensure that the parts storage area is clean, secure, and well organized.
- Perform other related duties as requested.

- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook calendar and email management, written and oral communication skills.
- General understanding of maintenance functions and operations.
- Previous experience in ERP and CMMS systems a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience working in Maintenance, MRO, or Warehouse / Inventory Management.
- Familiarity with maintenance practices, general parts knowledge and procurement procedures.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus.
