About the role:
As a key player, the Production Coordinator is working within the Vehicle Operations group. You will be responsible for fulfilling all of the day-to-day tasks that are a part of our vehicle cosmetic reconditioning process. Whether that is inspecting a vehicle, dealing with vendors or building an internal cosmetic process, the Production Coordinator will get a chance to experience everything that goes into making a Clutch car what it is.
Being highly organized, having strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail are all necessities due to the high volume of vehicles that are bought and sold week to week!
This is a Full-Time, 12-month fixed-term employment.
What You’ll Do:
- Managing inflows and outflows of cars to and from vendors
- Ensuring vendors meet cost & quality commitment and time deadlines.
- Review, Negotiate and select vendor bids
- Ensure cars meet Clutch’s rigorous cosmetic standards
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
All About You:
- 1-2 years of vendor management experience
- Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets
- High attention to detail
- Interest in the automotive industry
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a get-it-done, bias-towards-action attitude
- Desire to learn new skills and grow.
- Team player above all else
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic vehicle issues
- Valid Class 5 R driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions
- Available to work from Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00AM - 5:00PM and willing to work longer hours when volume spikes
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous automotive experience
- Previous auto body experience an asset
- Comfortable driving manual transmission
