
Graphic Designer (Contract)

We're seeking a Contract Graphic Designer with a keen eye for modern, minimalist design and a flair for creativity. This is a part-time role where you’ll be expected to participate in meetings and deliver same day for many small but time-sensitive projects. This role involves crafting a wide range of digital and print marketing materials. You'll work closely with our marketing team to transform ideas into compelling visuals that resonate with our target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and update marketing assets using Figma, with occasional use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Develop new graphics and adapt existing designs to maintain freshness and relevance across all visual touchpoints.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project briefs and deliver designs that meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage design requests through Slack, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact while effectively communicating with stakeholders to align on deadlines and expectations.
- Regularly update and customize assets in Figma for a variety of applications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Produce creative elements for digital advertising (Meta and LinkedIn), email campaigns, tradeshow materials, and website enhancements.
- If applicable, assist with basic video editing tasks, such as editing testimonial footage, adding overlays, and creating engaging title cards.
Requirements
- Must be available to work within PST hours (9 AM - 5 PM) with same day fulfillment for small
- Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience, with a compelling portfolio that displays a modern, minimalist style and professional quality.
- Proficiency in Figma is essential; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality design assets in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
- Basic video editing capabilities, including trimming, text overlays, and the creation of title cards.
- Familiarity with best practices for digital advertising on platforms like Meta and LinkedIn.
Compensation
- $5,000/monthly for 15 hours per week
