Partnership Executive, Broker & Consultant Development

To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a talented Partnership Executive, Broker & Consultant Development. 

Reporting to the VP of HR Solutions, you will be responsible for executing our comprehensive broker development strategic plan, including enhancing our existing broker relations and establishing new relationships throughout the country. You will have established sales goals in support of the overall objectives of CoreTrust, and your main focus will be to develop opportunities for our HR Solutions suite of products, including PBM.  

Relationship development will include the ongoing building and management of third-party advisor relationships, and the full spectrum of relationship management required to meet CoreTrust’s high standards and service model. A strong candidate will possess expert industry knowledge and interpersonal skills to build credibility and foster professional relationships with brokers/consultants, senior HR executives, and the sales teams within CoreTrust. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the relationships with major broker & consulting firms in order to secure business for CoreTrust 
  • Business Development 
    • Construct and manage pipeline of prospects across the sales cycle—this includes introduction, deeper review, final engagement support, cross-line integration, and close 
    • Establish and manage “center of influence” relationships with relevant firms 
    • Create and manage target lists for pursuit
    • Support outreach to targeted new business opportunities
    • Be consistently visible in the marketplace to create new opportunities
    • Use your influence with broker and consulting firms to generate opportunities and wins 
  • Close New Business
    • Work with the CoreTrust PBM and HR Solutions leads to close opportunities 
    • Work collaboratively with suppliers and CoreTrust staff to strategically manage RFPs 
    • Document and keep diligent records in Salesforce 
    • Collaborate on development of materials to support business development activities 
    • Grow CoreTrust contract volume to established goals 
  • Leverage Market Expertise
    • Gain, grow, and maintain expert level knowledge of CoreTrust’s HR solutions products and industry trends
    • Provide market feedback to various teams within CoreTrust to ensure competitiveness
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to ensure focus on the correct firms 
  • Partner Effectively 
    • Develop positive working relationships with CoreTrust stakeholders to enable growth and build trust 
    • Work closely with our suppliers and their sales teams, collaborating on sales strategies and product development 

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales experience within the HR benefits, PBM and related markets
  • Deep familiarity with HR buying patterns and contracts
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits (plan design, formulary, PBM administrative/operations, etc.)
  • High level of experience (7+ years) building and maintaining relationships with third party advisors focused across corporate industries
  • Development of relationships with key buyers and brokers, with knowledge of the process and procedures used to govern the selection process
  • Comfortable and confident working with HR leaders/buyers and related executives
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to be nimble and deadline driven; flexible to drive goals/projects to completion
  • Ability to work independently, yet take direction and articulate point of view
  • Knowledge of competitor landscape and market dynamics
  • Must be willing to travel 35% of time, as required
