Senior Marketing Manager, Public Sector

We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts as we drive new growth in the government and education sectors. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and growth within the public sector. The ideal candidate has experience in government procurement, cooperative purchasing, or B2G marketing and can create and execute targeted campaigns that build awareness and align with public sector buying behaviors.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the public sector, state, local, and education markets
- Create targeted messaging, content, collateral, and supplier enablement materials that align with public sector procurement processes and regulations
- Manage awareness and demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, events, ABM, and digital advertising
- Develop and execute digital channel strategy across web, advertising, supplier pages, and social media
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support lead generation and nurture campaigns
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to adjust marketing strategies accordingly
- Establish relationships with government associations, procurement groups, and other key stakeholders to enhance brand credibility
- Track and analyze marketing performance, providing data-driven insights to optimize campaigns
Qualifications
- 8+ years of marketing experience, preferably in public sector, B2G, or government contracting.
- Broad skillset spanning demand generation, content marketing, and event marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, business development, and external partners.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools (Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Marketo) and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Growth mindset and demonstrated ability to swiftly learn new concepts and technologies.
- Self-starter, capable of driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Data and analytics minded; skilled in making data-informed decisions to drive growth
- Bonus:
