What You'll Do

  • Supervise checking out camera packages and all other rented equipment
  • Accurately and efficiently preparing camera equipment and accessories requests from clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment during preps
  • Have and maintain a working knowledge of Cinema/ Photographic/Video/Lighting equipment.
  • Assist with customers and all internal departments to deliver the highest customer service.
  • Efficacy in communicating and dealing with high profile clients.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the processes to better serve our client’s needs.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional appearance.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet our business needs.
  • Maintains a high quality of service standards set by Adorama Rental Co.

What Will Help You Thrive

 

  • On-set experience as a Camera Assistant or a Camera Prep Technician at a Rental House or Production Co.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with digital cinema cameras and optics
  • Willingness to work until job is complete, extended hours as needed
  • Excellent communicating skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Passion for filmmaking and filmmakers
  • Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50+ lbs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Customer satisfaction, punctuality, efficiency, works well with others

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3 + years of experience in video / photography industry
  • A technical or management degree is preferred

Pay range for this role:

$29 - $34 USD
