About the role:

This is the first leadership role on the Marketing Operations team. You will be the orchestrator and strategist behind our marketing engine—defining critical processes, implementing industry-leading technologies, and ensuring measurable impact on Cresta’s bottom line. Your work will span inbound pipeline generation, marketing automation, data analytics, and team leadership, all to create seamless customer journeys and drive revenue. Location: SF preference, but open to fully remote, US.

Responsibilities: 

  • Global Marketing Operations Leadership
    • Oversee global marketing operations, orchestrating everything from lead acquisition to revenue generation
    • Champion best-in-class processes—including lead scoring, attribution, database management, segmentation, and digital marketing workflows—to ensure no lead is left behind
  • Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Drive engagement and alignment with senior leadership across business units
    • Partner with Finance and cross-functional operations teams to lead annual/quarterly planning processes, ensuring marketing goals and budgets map to Cresta’s strategic objectives
  • Pipeline Generation & Campaign Execution
    • Lead pipeline strategy to drive demand and growth for Cresta’s strategic and enterprise segments
    • Ensure full closed-loop reporting from lead to revenue, optimizing funnel performance and revealing actionable insights on campaign ROI
  • Marketing Technology & Data Governance
    • Configure, integrate, and optimize the marketing tech stack (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Tableau)  to track, analyze, and scale global marketing programs
    • Own and maintain the marketing database, enforcing data hygiene, segmentation, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
  • Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
    • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement streamlined, automated solutions for effective lead management, forecasting, and reporting
    • Develop and manage the marketing forecast model, providing accurate projections for pipeline and revenue contribution
    • Lead the Marketing OKR process and take ownership of crafting board presentation slides with the CMO
  • Measurement & Insights
    • Design and refine dashboards, analytics frameworks, and KPI reviews that enable data-driven decisions
    • Deliver accurate, actionable insights on campaign performance, channel ROI, and marketing’s overall impact on revenue
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, IT, and the broader Revenue Operations team to align marketing ops with wider business initiatives
    • Collaborate on major go-to-market launches, budget planning, and technology integrations to drive a seamless buyer experience
  • Team Management & Culture
    • Manage current team (1 team member today) with long-term ability to build out a global function
    • Cultivate a high-performance, data-informed culture, ensuring alignment with Cresta’s values and long-term objectives

 

Qualifications We Value:

  • 7+ years in strategic operational roles (marketing operations, product marketing, revenue ops, or analytics), ideally within a global and cross-functional environment
  • 5+ years specifically in marketing operations, with demonstrated success in lead lifecycle management, data integrity, technology integrations, and funnel optimization
  • 5+ years managing Hubspot (or a similar marketing automation platform) and Salesforce CRM; advanced proficiency in configuring, integrating, and optimizing these tools
  • Expertise in demand generation, funnel metrics, marketing attribution, and closed-loop reporting
  • Strategic problem solver with exceptional project management and influencing skills; proven ability to lead complex initiatives and communicate effectively at all org levels
  • Deep understanding of database structures, data hygiene, and analytics best practices

 

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable. Your recruiter can provide further details.
