Senior Marketing Science Analyst (Business Performance)

As a Marketing Science Senior Analyst, you'll be sleuthing through piles of data to uncover valuable insights that inform our strategies and drive our digital customer experiences to success. You'll be the master of metrics, turning numbers into narratives that guide our clients and customers on their digital journeys. If you're a data wizard with a knack for storytelling and a passion for all things digital, this role is for you!

You bring 3 to 5 years of experience, leading marketing science deliverables across a broad range of initiatives including measurement and strategy, tracking implementation, reporting and visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, and statistical modeling. You have experience using data analytics to recommend solutions to improve digital marketing performance, enjoy collaborating with others, and are capable of directly communicating business insights to clients through logical, easy to understand stories.

You will:

  • Lead the ideation, development, and execution of measurement strategies and frameworks to track website and app performance
  • Dive deep into digital data oceans, analyzing website traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance with the finesse of a seasoned detective.
  • Use analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to create interactive and compelling dashboards and reports that provide clients actionable insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is integrated effectively into campaigns and strategies.
  • Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to uncover hidden gems in the data, turning insights into actionable recommendations that fuel our clients' success.
  • Present your findings with flair, transforming complex data sets into compelling stories that captivate clients and colleagues alike.
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.
  • Focus on developing expertise in app measurement and strategy, involving the analysis of app-related data to uncover insights, optimize performance, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Be responsible for devising strategies to enhance the user experience, improve app functionality, and analyze in-app survey results using NLP (natural language processing) and AI tools.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Challenge the status quo, looking for ways to continuously improve.
  • Mentor and support junior team members including Analysts and Associate Analysts.
  • Work with AI tools to automate analysis and reporting.

You have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business).
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital analytics, with a proven track record of unraveling data mysteries and driving actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Tableau experience a plus.
  • Expertise in web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, because knowing your bounce rate from your conversion rate is kind of a big deal. Adobe Analytics experience is a plus.
  • Experience with tag management platforms (GTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, etc.,) and one or more testing platforms (Optimizely, Adobe Target, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a creative mindset, because crunching numbers is cool, but turning them into stories is even cooler.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, because even the most brilliant insights are worthless if you can't articulate them to others.
  • Expertise in with at least two of the following: data architecture (ETL/data integration), automated data ingestion + reporting, data science and statistical programming, testing and personalization, data visualization, analytics tool implementation.
  • Experience with Python, R, SQL, or other business-relevant statistical programming language.
  • Experience working within AWS infrastructure (Redshift, S3.) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • High problem-solving skills to move projects forward by actively removing barriers and defining next steps even during ambiguity.
