The Designer is responsible for the development and execution of creative deliverables for email marketing campaigns and related digital assets. You’re a natural collaborator who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams to bring creative ideas to life. You will contribute to the visual design, layout, and creative strategy for email marketing campaigns to ensure they align with our client’s brand goals.

Balancing creative thinking with strong communication skills, you are able to articulate your design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.


You Will:

  • Design visually appealing email templates that align with brand guidelines
  • Ensure consistency in colours, fonts, imagery, and overall design across all email communications
  • Develop concepts, communicate ideas, and design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives in a highly collaborative environment
  • Collaborate with UX, Copywriters, fellow Designers, and marketing teams to create engaging campaigns
  • Balance creative development with client business objectives
  • Ensure copy tone and style are visually supported and consistent with the design
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
  • Work closely with core creative services disciplines (Design, Copywriting, UX) to deliver cohesive campaigns
  • Provide quality assurance of your creative deliverables
  • Build and maintain rapport with clients, partner agencies and vendors as required
  • Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department

You Have:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Designer in an agency or client-side environment—including experience with emails, landing pages, and marketing/advertising
  • Experience working on Email projects
  • Experience collaborating with Designers, Copywriters, UX, Strategists to achieve creative excellence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and articulate design concepts to clients and team members
  • Experience with brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Solid working knowledge of the latest design tools including Adobe CS, Sketch, Principle

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $75,000 CAD
