How you can help make a better world of work
At Culture Amp, we help millions of people across the world do their best work, and we’re looking for someone to help us stay at the forefront of all things people and culture.
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on, and deeply experienced VP of Total Rewards & People Operations to lead our global charge across Total Rewards, People Operations, and People Analytics. You’ll bring these disciplines together into one high-impact, globally distributed team, with the right mix of strategy, systems thinking, and a passion for building scalable, efficient, human-centred programs.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the foundations of our employee experience and operational excellence, making a meaningful difference in how we support, reward, and continuously improve the experience of our Campers (that’s what we call our employees).
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the People leadership team, you’ll:
- Lead a global team across Total Rewards, People Operations, and People Analytics, uniting three pillars into a single, high-performing function.
- Own the strategy, design, and execution of all total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, wellness, equity, and recognition, tailored to the needs of Campers in Australia, the US, and EMEA.
- Guide the strategic direction of executive compensation and equity, and lead the engagement of the People & Culture committee (sometimes known as the Compensation or Remuneration committee).
- Continuously improve global employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding and mobility to leaves, offboarding, compliance, and HR technology and workforce management systems.
- Drive our HR technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring systems are scalable, data is accurate, and insights are actionable.
- Ensure global compliance across employment law, benefits, safety, travel, and more, while finding ways to keep the Camper experience simple, inclusive, and human.
- Drive people analytics as a key strategic enabler of decision intelligence across the company by aggregating and analysing all people data, and integrating relevant business metrics to enhance the value, relevance, and impact of people insights.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tech, and Legal to help us scale thoughtfully and responsibly.
You Should Apply If You:
- Have deep leadership experience in Total Rewards and/or People Operations at the VP or senior director level, ideally in a global and scaling environment
- Have experience owning and managing employee share option schemes, ideally for a pre-IPO organisation
- Bring strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills—you’re comfortable advising C-level execs, Boards and compensation committees
- Are an operator and builder at heart who thrives in ambiguity and loves creating systems that drive efficiency and scale.
- Understand the complexity of operating across multiple regions and legal frameworks, and can simplify that for others.
- Balance strategic thinking with the ability to roll up your sleeves, especially when it comes to the detail of compensation, data, compliance, or systems.
- Have a passion for making work better for people, and are aligned with Culture Amp’s mission to build a better world of work.
