The Role
As a fast-growing, global, and dynamic organization - Dataiku knows our people are at the heart of our impact with customers and partners every day. We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage a Portfolio Project Book of work across the People Team.

This role will drive key transformation priorities impacting the employee lifecycle, how the People Team operates, and supporting overall business growth and priorities.

You’ll mentor, coach, and empower operational efficiency and rigor. This role reports directly to our VP, People Foundation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Project Portfolio Management

  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders to deliver programs on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities. 
  • Provide strategic direction for projects within the People Team coordinating organization-wide projects. 
  • Use Asana’s capabilities to manage the entire project lifecycle.

Strategic Leadership, Innovation, & Problem Solving

  • Lead complex  initiatives, provide mentorship, and advise on program design incorporating strategic insights. 
  • Shape strategy by partnering with executives and steering innovation at the highest organizational level. 
  • Drive execution and management of strategic initiatives while providing expert advice on program design leveraging organizational and market insights.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to implement initiatives that support business objectives and improve organizational outcomes. 
  • Build credibility and strong relationships with leaders, managers, and employees to enhance the success of programs. 
  • Support and lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee engagement.
  • Manage prioritization, sizing, and capacity planning.

Performance Management & Analysis

  • Analyze for scope shift, counter measures, and recommend targeted interventions to meet goals and objectives.
  • Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and program optimization.

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in People Operations and Benefits Management with a proven record of delivering transformational impact across global teams and functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Expertise in building and scaling Global HR programs (payroll, benefits, analytics, etc.) from design through successful rollout in high-growth organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with Global People Technology and Project Management Systems, including process optimization, and workflow design.
  • Strong data orientation—skilled in translating people data into actionable insights that drive employee engagement, development, and organizational success.
  • Deep knowledge of People Team best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance while enabling flexibility and growth.
  • Global perspective, with a track record of successfully expanding HR operations into new regions and adapting approaches to diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.
  • Collaborative leader, adept at building partnerships across recruiting, payroll, IT, finance, and other teams.
  • Clear and compelling communicator, both in writing and presenting to leadership.
    Strategic yet hands-on, comfortable shifting between long-term vision and day-to-day operational needs in a dynamic environment.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, using sound judgment to resolve complex challenges.
  • Passionate about people's success, with a strong service mindset and commitment to growth and development.
  • Experience in the tech industry is strongly preferred.
