Role Summary

As Vice President of Product Marketing, you will lead the global product marketing organization responsible for translating Dataiku’s platform value into differentiated market demand that drives qualified pipeline and ARR growth.

This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales combining strategic positioning, market insight, and commercial execution to shape how Dataiku competes and wins. You will define how we tell our story to the market, guide go-to-market strategies across products and industries, and ensure every message, launch, and enablement asset drives measurable impact.

You are a strategic storyteller, a market translator, and a commercial catalyst able to connect technology, customer value, and market opportunity into a unified narrative that accelerates growth.

Core Responsibilities

Product Marketing Leadership

  • Lead and scale a global team responsible for positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement.

  • Partner with the CMO and Product leadership to ensure alignment between market opportunity, product strategy, and revenue priorities.

  • Build a high-performing organization that balances strategic thought leadership with executional excellence.

Positioning & Messaging

  • Define and continuously evolve Dataiku’s market positioning to translate complex platform capabilities into differentiated customer value.

  • Develop buyer-centric narratives that convert pain points into purchase intent and reinforce category leadership.

  • Ensure all messaging is consistent, credible, and aligned across marketing, sales, and product functions.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies that drive pipeline and revenue across products, industries, and personas.

  • Own product launches, from strategy and messaging to enablement and measurement.

  • Partner with Digital & Growth Marketing, Field, and Partner teams to deliver integrated campaigns with clear demand and revenue outcomes.

Sales Partnership & Enablement

  • Partner closely with Sales and Enablement teams to develop competitive content, battlecards, demos, and storytelling assets that improve win rates and deal velocity.

  • Provide product training, talk tracks, and market insights to ensure sellers can articulate Dataiku’s differentiated value to every persona and buyer stage.

  • Establish feedback loops between Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and identify new market opportunities.

Market Intelligence & Pricing Strategy

  • Lead market, competitive, and pricing analysis to inform go-to-market and product decisions.

  • Deliver actionable insights on trends, buyer behavior, and competitive positioning to shape strategy and investment.

  • Partner with Finance and Product to align pricing and packaging with market opportunity and revenue goals.

Voice of the Buyer

  • Serve as the champion for customer and prospect perspectives across the business.

  • Lead buyer research, persona development, and win/loss analysis to ensure product, messaging, and go-to-market strategies reflect real customer needs.

  • Partner with Customer Success and Product to ensure insights from customers translate into better products and stronger retention.

Success Profile

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing with deep expertise in product marketing, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Proven success building product marketing organizations in high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology companies.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technology into compelling narratives that drive business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical and market insight capabilities; skilled at turning data into strategic direction.
