Description
Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to lead quality assurance efforts for systems and applications within the Army Resource Cloud (ARC/cPROBE) environment. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Control Plan, perform rigorous testing and defect management, and ensure compliance with DoD and Army standards, including RMF and cybersecurity requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in IT and quality assurance to support the Army's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality systems and applications.

Required Qualifications

Active or Current DOD Secret Clearance. Advanced degrees in related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
Current Security + Certification
A minimum of 6 to 10 years of IT and business/industry experience, with a focus on quality assurance, software testing, and process improvement.
Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices, including experience with software testing frameworks, defect tracking systems, and process improvement techniques.
Familiarity with tools such as UFT One Test Automation, Tricentis NeoLoad, and other testing tools is highly desirable.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with DoD and Army standards, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), cybersecurity compliance, and adherence to Army regulations such as AR 25-2 and AR 735-5.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices, including automated testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and address quality issues effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), ISTQB Certified Tester, or similar are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services and products meet established quality standards and industry benchmarks.
Perform inspections, audits, and evaluations to identify and address quality issues.
Analyze existing processes and propose measures to enhance operations, improve system reliability, and minimize downtime, errors, and defects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and optimize workflows.
Design and execute test plans, scripts, and procedures to evaluate software systems using manual and automated methods.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to DoD and Army regulations, including RMF and cybersecurity standards.
Support the implementation of quality assurance processes in alignment with the Quality Control Plan and other applicable standards.
Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, including test results, defect reports, and corrective actions.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and deliver monthly Quality Assurance Surveillance Reporting (QASP).
Work closely with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to identify quality issues, recommend solutions, and ensure continuous improvement.
Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and provide input on quality-related matters.
