What You’ll Do:
The VP, Agency Partnerships will lead sales efforts across the full suite of DeepIntent’s platform offerings with a focus on securing deals with leading agencies and trading desks. In this role, the VP will gain a deep understanding of our platform capabilities and be responsible for pitching and closing DSP self-service contracts and/or managing and expanding current self-service client relationships. Working in close partnership with Sales, the VP will also work cross-functionally with Client Success, Product and Engineering to support client implementations and enhance our product capabilities. You will be highly impactful by combining your technical knowledge and sales experience to maximize the value we deliver to our clients. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.
- Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with the senior leadership teams across Publicis
- Work closely with sales support to provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and post-sales support services at scale
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and UI demonstrations emphasizing how DeepIntent’s DSP can meet client needs
- Negotiate and close MSAs and Buyer Seat agreements with leading media agencies and programmatic trading desks
- Hand-off successful post-sale implementation to the self-service Client Success team
- In partnership with Client Success, upsell existing platform customers to expand DSP spend over time
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with existing clients to demonstrate the value of their investments within our platform
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand DSP functionality, product roadmaps, and provide client feedback to inform future enhancements
- Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
- Respond to and support functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends, and identifying sales opportunities
- Continued industry knowledge by studying new product descriptions, participating in educational opportunities, attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Who You Are:
- 10+ years experience working with programmatic platform technologies including DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Serving
- 10+ years of working in digital advertising technology
- Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales goals
- Closed multiple MSA and platform contracts with major agency holding companies
- Developed significant working relationships with agency trading desk executives
- You have great passion for programmatic advertising and a strong understanding of the industry landscape
- You've worked at an ad tech company selling to agencies or agency programmatic trading desks
- You are detail oriented and organized with flexibility to work on accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and well organized, comfortable working independently, and have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies
- Self-motivated with high energy and willingness to adapt
- Expertise in working with ad servers, Ad Exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, verification and data tools
- Experience in negotiating legal agreements with major agencies and Fortune 500 companies
- Experience working with healthcare/pharma marketers and their agencies.
- Experience with Boostr CRM platform is a plus
- Experience with healthcare advertising is a plus
DeepIntent is proud to offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of a base salary range of $220,000 -$250,000. The base salary range takes into consideration each candidates skills, experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a quarterly commissions plan and competitive benefits as well as many other company offerings.
