For our Web Banking Team, we are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to help us shape a seamless, scalable, and engaging online banking experience for DKB customers. In this role, you will take technical ownership of key frontend domains, mentor junior colleagues, and collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features to our users. { your_responsibilities: [

• Take end-to-end ownership of complex frontend features for an enterprise-grade B2C financial product, from technical discovery to implementation and delivery.

• Translate product and design requirements into robust, scalable, and well-tested frontend solutions that follow best practices in performance, accessibility, and security.

• Drive architectural decisions in the frontend codebase, contributing to the evolution of our design system, component architecture, and development workflows.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between product vision, user experience, and technical feasibility.

• Lead by example in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions, mentoring junior and mid-level developers in the team.

• Continuously evaluate emerging frontend technologies and propose improvements to our tooling, build pipelines, and frontend ecosystem.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [

• A strong track record as a frontend engineer, with several years of professional experience building production-grade web applications.

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript-based technologies, ideally React and TypeScript, including state management, performance optimization, and application architecture.

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, modern browser APIs, and responsive, accessible UI development.

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable frontend architectures, design systems, or component libraries.

• A proactive and collaborative mindset—able to provide technical direction while working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.

• Experience with testing strategies and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Cypress) to ensure high reliability and maintainability.

• Bonus: Familiarity with backend technologies and architectural patterns such as Self-Contained Systems or micro-frontends.

• Bonus: Strong understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) and a passion for creating inclusive digital experiences.
