Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of service area related end-user facing documentation.
- Work with technical subject matter experts to verify accuracy and update if necessary.
- Ensure content conforms to established standards for end-user. facing documentation.
- Synthesize and streamline content for ease of use.
- Upload and edit content in content management system.
- Draft, review, and update other artefacts as directed by Program Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- 6 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent documentation and written and oral communications are required.
- Able to gain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience/training in development, writing, editing, and proofreading of technical documentation.
- Ability to edit/maintain web content
- Experience collecting, analyzing and documenting formal (and informal) requirements.
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- NIH experience preferred.
- Prior experience working with Enterprise IT Service Management solutions (ideally ServiceNow) is preferred.
- Prior experience authoring, editing and proofreading documents such as project documents, mass email distributions and Word templates.
- Familiarity with screen capture applications, such as Snagit.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to synthesize highly technical tasks into simple instructions.
- Will be able to function independently and be highly collaborative with multiple technical and business stakeholders.
Basic Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 yearly salary
The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
