Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Marketing Analyst to take ownership of all digital marketing analytics at Domo. Domo’s Senior Marketing Analyst will be responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across SEO, paid search, community engagement, and website performance. This role demands deep expertise in digital marketing analytics, a strong grasp of data tools and techniques, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. This role has the opportunity to orchestrate the entire digital analytics process, from data engineering to KPI creation to recommendations. This is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing Analytics Leadership
- Own end-to-end analytics for SEO, paid search, community engagement, and website performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and others to identify KPIs and measure the success of digital marketing initiatives.
- Website Analytics
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics.
- Identify opportunities to improve the user experience, reduce bounce rates, and increase conversion rates.
- Website analytics is the primary responsibility of this role.
- Paid Search Analytics
- Evaluate the effectiveness of paid search campaigns & keywords across platforms like Google Ads.
- Deliver actionable insights to optimize bidding strategies, ad creative, and targeting to maximize ROI.
- SEO Analytics
- Monitor and analyze organic search performance, including rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize keyword strategies and content performance.
- Community Analytics
- Track and measure engagement and growth across online communities, forums, and social media platforms.
- Provide recommendations for fostering community participation and improving brand perception.
- Advanced Analysis and Insights
- Conduct cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and attribution modeling to understand prospect behavior and optimize marketing efforts.
- Use predictive analytics and statistical modeling to identify trends and forecast performance.
- Reporting and Visualization
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and precision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment;
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, and Domo;
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL & Python or R;
- Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, community engagement metrics, and website analytics. Preference given to experience with and understanding of website analytics;
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable recommendations;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical findings for non-technical audiences;
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
