About this opportunity:
- Location: Dream Kissimmee, 4567 Seven Dwarfs Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34746
- Compensation: Competitive starting salary with monthly and quarterly commissions
- Position type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with rotating weekends required.
What we are looking for in a Leasing Specialist Candidate:
- Strong alignment with and representation of our company’s core values in all interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and engaging demeanor.
- Minimum 1 year of leasing experience, preferably with Class A lease-up communities.
- Proven success in sales, marketing, and resident relations within a fast-paced environment.
- Background in property management or real estate asset management preferred.
- Multifamily housing experience strongly desired.
- Proficiency in AppFolio or similar property management software a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed.
- Professional appearance and conduct, with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Ability to build relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact to move-in.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
What you will do as a Leasing Specialist:
- Leverage social media to promote the community and engage prospective residents.
- Work weekends and occasional evenings as needed to support leasing activity.
- Market the community daily, including creative guerilla marketing and local relationship-building.
- Plan, organize, and host resident events that foster connection and community pride.
- Generate and follow up on leads through outreach, marketing, and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct apartment tours, schedule appointments, and respond promptly to calls and emails.
- Communicate consistently with the Community Manager and property leadership team.
- Prospect for new residents through proactive outreach and engagement efforts.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and courteous relationships with residents, teammates, and vendors.
- Support the overall physical and administrative operations of the property.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to leasing associates as needed.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to boost visibility and attract qualified prospects.
- Contribute to company goals through strategic, solutions-oriented teamwork.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Director or Community Manager.
