About the Role:

As the Marketplaces Performance & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving operations across our diverse and growing global online retail/marketplace channels, including Amazon US and International, Walmart.com, Target.com, TikTok Shop, and others. You will own daily operations of each channel, and will be accountable for channel revenue. 

This role is fundamental to the success of the fast-evolving and dynamic marketplace team at Dr. Squatch, and is a great opportunity for a smart, scrappy, motivated individual to take ownership, shape their role to maximize impact, and drive results. The scope will include a combination of driving strategic projects to advance the business; analytical reporting and problem-solving; and tactical operations leadership and hands-on implementation to support critical objectives. 

This role involves managing multiple revenue channels across the business (e.g. Amazon International in collaboration with the International team, Walmart.com in collaboration with the Retail team). It is best suited for someone who thrives when juggling diverse work, and is organized and skilled at project management. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a strong communicator and team player. 

This role will report to the Director, Marketplaces.

This is a full-time hybrid role with company benefits based out of Marina Del Rey, CA.

The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $100,000 to $125,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Fully own all operations for US and International marketplace channels (primarily Amazon, but also Walmart.com, Target, TikTok Shop, and others), including pricing and promotions, inventory, account health, new launch strategy and rollouts, and new channel launches. 
  • Be accountable for revenue of marketplace/online retail channels, and handle reporting and troubleshooting 
  • Report upwards to the Director, Marketplace on performance, and collaborate with them and with cross-functional leadership on progress towards objectives and goals  
  • Manage a small team of 1 - 2 Associates and oversee agency partners to support operational rollout 
  • Independently identify, initiate, and own strategic projects that support the achievement of channel goals and improved processed, e.g. strategy and tactical plan to maximize the success of new category launches on Amazon, merchandising strategy  
  • Work closely with the Operations, Product, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution 
  • Document processes and create SOPs based around new and emerging procedures

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 4 - 5 years experience project management experience in a high growth startup or consulting firm
  • 1 - 2 years experience leading a team Excellent communication skillsInterest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
    • Experience working in the consumer products industry and/or eCommerce is highly preferred
    • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources, is innovative, and works with a sense of urgency
    • Someone who has high standards, takes ownership, and is invested in outcomes
    • Someone who proactively helps others, stays positive, and has a good sense of humor
