What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Marketing at Durable, you will own everything from paid acquisition channels to new organic strategies, and implement other innovative growth tactics to achieve growth targets for the company. Your work will directly impact our revenue by driving customer acquisition, engaging current customers, optimizing our funnel and improving retention rates.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute new campaigns, growth marketing strategies and product launches that align with annual revenue goals.
- Plan and manage multi-channel & cross functional campaigns, balancing product goals with acquisition initiatives.
- Work with the broader marketing team to expand organic channels with innovative tools, AEO, SEO, content, and community-building approaches
- Solid understanding of product marketing and working with evolving products looking to test or beta initiatives via marketing channels
- Revenue Generation:
- Drive measurable revenue growth through paid media, SEO, CRO, partnerships, and content marketing.
- Optimize the customer acquisition funnel to maximize ROI across all channels.
- Channel Ownership:
- Oversee the performance of all paid marketing channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) to meet or exceed KPI targets.
- Own channels entirely both from an execution standpoint and oversight into budgets, creative and resources to support the channels
- Budget Management:
- Own and manage the overall marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Regularly report on budget utilization and ROI to leadership team and wider stakeholders.
- KPI Delivery:
- Set, track, and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CAC, LTV, conversion rates, retention, and overall revenue growth.
- Implement data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics tools to refine campaigns.
- Creative Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to produce high-performing content, product resources, ad creatives and engaging customer experiences.
- Identify and implement A/B testing strategies to continuously improve campaign results on the Durable website, new landing page experiences or within the marketing channels
- Team Leadership:
- Manage, inspire, mentor and grow a high-performing marketing team
- Direct reports include Marketing Manager, Social Lead, Lifecycle Marketing Lead and freelance designers
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, and engineering, to align marketing efforts with broader company goals.
- Build partnerships with external vendors, agencies, and platforms to extend reach and capabilities.
- Market Trends:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging tools to ensure the company remains ahead of the curve.
- Experiment with new channels, tactics, and technologies for continued growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a marketing leadership role with a strong track record of delivering revenue growth.
- Expertise in paid acquisition platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) and high level of knowledge with organic growth strategies, as you will be working closely with our SEO lead.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Looker, or posthog.
- Budget management experience with a focus on ROI and efficient resource allocation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail in creative and marketing materials.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

- Improvement in key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates.
- Success in scaling both paid and organic channels while maintaining budget efficiency.
