Weber Shandwick is seeking a talented Vice President, Business Marketing (B2B) to join our team, part of Weber Advisory, a unit that combines brand and communications expertise with cultural understanding and insights to provide trusted, agile C-suite counsel that accelerates stakeholder and business value.  

 

Working in our hybrid model – a mix of remote and onsite work – you’ll help lead client partnerships focused on integrated digital marketing strategy and execution, across Baltimore and our NA network, particularly in Washington, DC—embracing our values of curiosity, inclusion, courage and impact. Our Baltimore office is a part of the agency’s South business unit, including Atlanta and DC.  

 

On any given day, you’ll work on marketing automation strategy, content development, mapping user journeys, liaising with clients on a paid campaign, and/or helping to launch a podcast. You’ll bring a background in digital strategy, and experience managing integrated projects including websites, social, mobile and/or email campaigns. 

 

The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, solutions-oriented, and have a passion for digital innovation and telling brand stories across digital platforms, including constructing efficient nurture journeys and concepting content production. If this is you, let’s talk! 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for major campaigns, product launches and digital assets for the world’s biggest brands with a mix of paid, owned and earned programs 
  • Execute digital engagement campaigns for clients across sectors using marketing automation tools, especially for audiences with long sales cycles 
  • Conduct research for various deliverables, such as: market landscape, persona, competitor, content, and target audiences 
  • Serve as a lead business marketing strategist for key clients and internal teams 
  • Brainstorm and pitch compelling ideas for performance marketing campaigns and projects  
  • Inform the development of creative and editorial assets to resonate with clients’ priority audiences and ensure channels are being used in high-value ways 
  • Manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously, while managing budgets and staffing  
  • Oversee and work with internal teams on editorial planning, content development, paid media, monitoring/analytics, and ongoing social strategy 
  • Support new business development efforts 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 10-12 years' experience 
  • Previous experience with a digital marketing or digital agency strongly preferred 
  • Experience within energy, technology, manufacturing, healthcare/pharma, or similar verticals 
  • Proven expertise in B2B and/or integrated digital campaigns 
  • Background in demand gen, lead gen, sales enablement, ABM and email marketing 
  • Experience with B2B automation platforms and MarTech tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot) 
  • Experience working with creative and/or technical teams 
  • Success in participating in the new business process 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity and comfort working with senior-level clients as well as integrated agency teams 
  • Experience in managing/providing oversight for junior or mid-level team members

Experience with MarTech platforms such as Email Service Providers (ESP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management System (CMS) platforms. Media databases and social tracking tools are a bonus.

Salary range: $113,000 - $150,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
